| Description |
Yarra Ranges Council is seeking tenders from suitably experienced parties for the design and construction of Warburton Mountain Bike Trail Destination.
A pre-tender meeting will be held at Yarra Ranges Council offices, on Wednesday 30 January 2019, from 1pm. Tenderers are strongly advised to attend and should indicate their intention to do so by contacting Matt Harrington via email to m.harrington@yarraranges.vic.gov.au with details of proposed attendees.
The ECI Contract will be undertaken in two phases using an early contractor involvement delivery methodology in which:
• the design development, cost planning (based on the Indicative Pricing) and programming of the works in the Project Development Phase will be performed on the terms of the ECI Contract on a part fixed lump sum and part schedule of rates basis with proposed Indicative Pricing for the Project Development Phase: and
• subject to the successful completion of the Project Development Phase, the Principal may (in its sole and absolute discretion) engage Contractor for the Delivery Phase on the terms of the Delivery Phase Agreement on [a fixed lump sum basis] based on the Indicative Pricing submitted as part of the successful tenderer’s tender. [Rise and fall will not apply].
The Contractor will be appointed as Principal Contractor for the purposes of regulation 333 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations (2017) Regulations, and will be authorized to manage or control the workplaces relevant to the carrying out of works at the site to the extent necessary to discharge the duties imposed under Subdivision 2 of the Regulations.

Tenderers should be aware that the electronic lodgement of files may take time, and the tenderer must make its own assessment of the time required for full transmission of its offer.
The Principal expressly disclaims any liability for any failure of the electronic tendering service, or any failed, rejected, incorrect or incomplete lodgement or lateness of a tender arising from the Tenderer’s use of the electronic tendering service.
PLEASE NOTE:
Tender responses must be in Microsoft compatible format.
The maximum individual file size is 500MB. The system will allow a maximum of 10 files to be uploaded at one time with a total file size limit of 2GB.
Council’s strong preference is to receive a zipped file containing tender submission together with any other relevant document files.
Your submission will be recorded as being received after the transmission of all the files has been successfully completed. An online receipt will be displayed upon completion. |
